Moi! I'm a frontend developer with almost 15 years of experience. I've worked across many companies and domains, always building things that people actually use. Finland has a special place in my heart — I keep coming back for the nature, the people, and the peace of mind it brings. This world you're walking through? It's my way of saying hello.
My toolkit has been shaped by years on real projects: TypeScript and React are my daily drivers. Lately I've been deep into AI — building smart interfaces that feel natural, not gimmicky. I care about clean architecture, performance, and code that the next developer can actually understand. Every signpost here is a skill I use to build things that work.
Finland is the world capital of metal music, and I'm fully on board. There's something about the energy — the precision, the creativity, the raw power — that resonates with how I approach work too. Whether it's a festival by the lake or headphones at my desk, metal is the soundtrack. 🤘
I have a pretty serious LEGO collection. There's a direct line between snapping bricks together and writing good software — you start with simple pieces, follow patterns, improvise when needed, and end up with something surprisingly complex. It's creative problem-solving in its purest form. This workshop is where ideas take shape.
We visited Lapland in winter and it was magical — endless snow, northern lights, and that deep Arctic silence. Summer brings the national parks with their midnight sun, smoke saunas, and wild blueberries. Finnish cuisine keeps surprising me too. Every visit here adds a new story, and I'm already planning the next one.

An ancient rune stone hums with power. The Kalevala, Finland's national epic, tells of Väinämöinen — the eternal sage who shaped the world through song and poetry. In Finnish mythology, words hold immense power: the right song could heal the wounded, calm the seas, or forge iron from the void. "He sang the rocks to boulders, he sang the boulders to cliffs." This stone remembers.
A delicate wooden bird carving sits on a weathered stump. In Finnish folk tradition, the Sielulintu (soul bird) guards your soul while you sleep. These carved birds are placed on cradles and bedposts — a guardian between the waking world and dreams. The tradition stretches back centuries, blending with the Karelian belief that the soul takes the form of a bird. Beautiful Finnish folk art, carrying ancient wisdom.
A shy Moomintroll! They say the Moomins live in Moominvalley, somewhere in Finland... Created by Finnish-Swedish author Tove Jansson, the Moomins have become beloved worldwide. These gentle, hippo-like trolls value family, adventure, and kindness. Moominvalley represents a place where everyone is accepted as they are.
This looks familiar... 🐦 Angry Birds was created by Finnish company Rovio Entertainment in 2009! It became one of the most downloaded mobile games in history, with over 5 billion downloads. The simple concept of flinging birds at pig structures captured the world. A true Finnish tech success story, right alongside Nokia and Linux!
